Janes opinion?
During times when your body cannot produce optimal amounts, like during injury or illness, supplementing with our L-Glutamine Powder Plus can be beneficial for your immune health and optimal recovery.
The Benefits
- IMMUNE SUPPORT - L-Glutamine is a critical fuel source for immune cells, including white blood cells and certain intestinal cells - the function of the immune system can be compromised when insufficient amounts of glutamine are available.
- HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING - L-Glutamine is produced by the body but is depleted when we workout and prevents protein synthesis and recovery. By supplementing with InnerHealth L-Glutamine Powder Plus you can avoid this and stay on track with your health and goals.
- MUSCLE GROWTH - L-Glutamine is used to help maintain cell volume and hydration, meaning that our muscles can hold and retain water, which is essential for muscle growth and tissue repair.
Product Details
L-Glutamine amino acid powder:
Protein makes up the structure of all cells and tissues in the body, including muscle tissue, internal organs, tendons, skin, hair and nails.
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and there are 20 of them. 12 of these can be made in the body and so are referred to as non-essential amino acids, while the other 8 are known as essential amino acids (as they must be sourced from the diet).
Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid and is the most abundant free amino acid in muscle cells.
L-glutamine is produced naturally in the body and found in several foods. It is estimated that a typical persons daily diet contains 3 to 6 grams.
It provides fuel for immune and intestinal cells and helps keep the connections in the intestines strong.
