This play, adapted for stage by Millie Hardy-Sims, is based on the 1883 childrens novel of the same name, written by Robert Louis Stevenson. A story which paved the way for the image of pirates as we know them, Treasure Island is a story of hardship, loyalty, coming-of-age and adventure which has delighted audiences for over 130 years.

ÒBeware the one legged man.Ó

It is the late 18th century. Piracy is rife amongst the seas and many coastal towns live in fear. Young Jemima Hawkins lives with her Mother in their rundown hostel along the Bristol Coast. TheyÕve seen better days, and just as things are looking desperate for the Admiral Benbow Inn, a stranger appears seeking shelter. He is brash, tattooed, scarred and permanently drunk. His appearance in the inn quickly brings down bad fortune upon the Hawkins family. Their quiet inn is soon host to many bloodthirsty and brutal pirates who are in search of one thing Ð a map to the treasure of the long dead notorious Captain Flint. Little do they know Jem has already found the map and fled the inn, a warning ringing in her ears... ÒBeware the one legged man.Ó

Jem soon finds herself on a seafaring adventure in search of the treasure, accompanied by family friend Doctor Livesey, fierce Captain Martha Smollett, silver-tongued Squire Trelawney and a salty sea-cook by the name of Long John Silver. Along the journey they must battle storms, find what to do with drunken sailors and encounter evil sirens intent on dragging them to the depths of Davey Jones Locker.

All that, and a rumour that there be pirates.

Better than any hair cream available today.
Scent: Hair Styler (1 Pack)
I have been using the HURON hair product for nearly ten months. A great product that is modestly priced. I apply the product on my hair after showering. The best thing about the product iis it’s crangrance free and it is not greasy or sticky. My hair combs beautifully after applying.

Wow it's smooth, soft, not overly scented
Scent: Hair Styler (1 Pack)
I rarely try new hair products. I use Aveda sculpting clay and when I tell most stylists this they simply stop trying to sell me their sponsored hair product since they know how good Aveda is. I've never seen a product as smooth as this; it feels like hand lotion and goes in super easy and has a nice hold with really minimal residue. Feels great to put hand through hair after putting this in. This stuff is really different - I'm a fan!

Not bad but read my full review if you are experimenting with different brands
Scent: Hair Styler (1 Pack)
So I am middle of the road on this product. First, I love the products from this brand and use some of their other products quite regularly. I was on a search for an alternative to the Crew Forming Cream (which I have used for maybe 20 years) and decided to purchase this product by Huron as well as the much cheaper medium hold styling cream by Cremo. All three are great products but you will need to decide for yourself how much hold you need as I have discovered that each are quite different and really shouldn't be compared to one another. I will say that if I had to put them all into two categories then Crew is heavy hold and Huron and Cremo is medium / light hold. I must admit that I was skeptical that the cheaper of the three, Cremo, would win me over but it has. For the record it has a very subtle scent (hardly noticable), just enough hold and does not leave you feeling like you have product in your hair. This is similar to Huron as well (although Huron is a very creamy in texture and you can tell its a higher quality product) but at the end of the day all that matters is great hold from a product that is affordable and does not leave a sticky texture in your hair. Cremo wins hands down. As for Crew, well it was a good ride but too expensive and way too heavy...time to move on.
