McCann speaks about the album: "Matt and I had often talked about collaborating, as our musical understandings and interests align. Both drawn to minimalism and graceful ambience, we would trade tidbits and slivers of ideas casually over coffee or wine. For the better part of a year, we procrastinated our theoretical project, which in retrospect allowed our ideas to ferment. So when it actually came time to pop the cork and record, everything fell right into place. What manifested in the studio was lush and enchanting. The pieces are quite varied, and range from the majestic to the tormented, occasionally synthesizing an almost humorous blend of the two. Presenting a manipulated animal and glockenspiel march, a chamber string and glass rhapsody and a somber harp and phone ballad - it challenges the listener and expresses the development of both acclaimed artists. Good quality and value for my son!

I bought the Gildan Men’s Crew T-Shirts multipack on Amazon for my 12-year-old son, who is on the heavier side and thus sometimes difficult to shop for. Pre-teen kids grow fast and go through clothes quickly, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on basics he’ll probably outgrow in a year. These shirts are really affordable, especially for a multipack, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price.
The fabric is soft and comfortable, and my son says they feel good to wear all day at school. They’re lightweight and did not shrink after washing. I also like that the shirts don’t get stretched out like some cheaper T-shirts do.
The fit works well for him too. They’re simple, classic crew neck tees that can be worn on their own or layered under hoodies and jackets. We’ve used them for school and just everyday wear.
Another thing I appreciate is that they’re easy to care for. I just toss them in the wash and dryer and they come out looking fine every time.
Overall, these are a great value. If you need affordable, comfortable basic T-shirts for a growing kid (or an adult!), this pack is definitely worth buying.
