The Palace of Versailles and the Trianons are a major architectural and historical ensemble in France, located in Versailles, in the Yvelines. The estate includes the Palace, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, and the Queen's Hamlet, as well as the extensive gardens that surround them.

The Palace of Versailles was the main residence of the kings of France, including Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. It is famous for its splendour, including the Hall of Mirrors, the State Apartments, and its formal gardens.


The Trianons are two smaller palaces, located in the grounds of Versailles, which offered the rulers a more intimate and less formal space than the main palace. The Grand Trianon, in Italian Baroque style, was built by Louis XIV and is known for its elegance and retreat atmosphere. The smaller, neoclassical-style Petit Trianon was built under Louis XV and is famous for its connection to Marie Antoinette.

The Queen's Hamlet is a group of small rustic buildings built at the request of Marie Antoinette, who wanted an escape from court life

These earring are beautiful. I like how they sparkle. They are very comfortable. I gave them 4 stars because I feel like the clasp closure is a bit loose. It still closes but I noticed one closure is looser than the other. I love the size of them, They are not too big but they are not small either. I feel like they are the prefect size. I like the thickness of them and make a great statement piece. I get compliments on them. I recommend.

While quite beautiful, my wife complains that they are a bit heavy for her ears and cause her pain. The inner glass circle is removable and has helped alleviate the weight on her ears. However, that was the reason she chose these earrings. If she takes that off, she is left with plain silver hoops, which she didn’t want.

These actually look much nicer than I thought they would, given the price point. These ae silver plated brass, but nickel and lead free. It is kind of a bummer that they are only silver plated though. So far, they haven't been irritating my ears at all. They open really wide with a hinge at the bottom. The little sparkly donut covers that while you're wearing them so you don't' really see the hinge. The donut can slip off very easily though. You have to be careful when opening, closing, and putting them in.
