The reducing tee can join up 32mm (1¼”) - 32mm (1¼”) - 20mm (¾") Australian standard copper pipes. This listing is for a single AW Metpress gas copper press reducing tee fitting.
AW gas press tee fittings are extremely versatile and can be used at any places where gas needs to be diverted into another line or a split is required in the gas pipe works. The AW Metpress gas copper press tee features a lip at each end of the fitting. The lip helps align the actual press areas along the copper pipes and provide extra sealing material when pressed. The yellow sealing ring is made of HNBR O-ring for LPG/NG gas applications with a temperature range of -20 - 110 °C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600kPa.
The AW Metpress copper press fittings have a slug fit over the copper pipes and will remain in place until the press tool is applied, allowing easy installations and adjustments. Once pressed and secured by the correct press tool, the fitting will not dent or deform the internal copper to ensure unhindered gas flow. These features have made the AW copper press systems a faster and safer connections to conventional compression or capillary systems. AW offers 25 years warranty on the Metpress copper press fittings.
