The Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Die Zip Spindle Kit is the ideal kit for updating your older Hornady Sizing dies to utilize the new threaded spindle design. The Zip Spindle has a series of light threads cut on the spindle and collet. This eliminates spindle slippage, and makes tightening the spindle lock a breeze when making adjustments. This kit includes a new threaded spindle (decapping rod) and a threaded spindle collet (portion of the kit that tightens the threaded spindle so it will not slip in the die). this kit does not include a decapping pin retainer or expander ball. Reloaders must use the decapping pin retainer and expander ball that is on their die set.Fits: Any Caliber Hornady New Dimension Sizer Dies (except 17 and 20 Caliber)
Notes:
• Kit consists of a threaded spindle and threaded spindle collet. This kit does not include the decapping pin retainer or expander ball.
• To install, remove the non-threaded spindle, collet, and expander ball from the existing die. Re-attach the existing expander ball to the new spindle, and install the threaded spindle and threaded collet.
• If the spindle on the expander die is already threaded, then this kit is not necessary.
• All die sets shipped in 2006 and later are the new threaded style.

DO NOT BUY. Stopped working after 2nd trip total of 2 hours use. Not returnable after 30 days. Could easily ruin your engine. Expensive garbage.

Looks very good quality to me.
Size: 85-300 HP
Everything looks good quality to me. I find it odd that the people leaving bad reviews with pictures of broken and melted impeller, when you can clearly see the brass on the inside is brown and dirty like old pennies and mine is shiny new. It's almost like the took the pictures of the ones they replaced to get a refund and a free repair kit.

Good for the $$$
Worked great on my Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2. Once the bottom unit of the outdrive is off and cleaned it only takes a few minutes to install impeller, seals and housing. A very affordable alternative to taking it to the shop.

Fit perfectly and very complete set of parts
Had everything I needed plus some extra parts in the kit. I probably could have just replaced the impeller for slightly less but while everything was disassembled you might as well replace the works. Included - Water Pump Impeller, Housing, Key, Face Plate, Face Plate Gasket, O-Ring, Seal Face and Carrier Assembly Oil Seal
