"Recorded in fits and starts, while the artists worked on their moontans amidst strong waters, the sole release by Dead Girl's Party was originally issued on cassette by the Entr'acte label. Since that tape now goes for a ben-and-a-half, we realized it was time to make a vinyl document of these young jazz immortals. Scott 'Pfennig' Foust (XX Committee, IFCO, Tart and the founding philosopher of the Anti-Natural movement) and Matt 'Ha'Penny' Krefting (Son of Earth, Believers, Duck, MK Unit, etc.) decided to do this stuff because they were hanging out a bunch, and 2009 seemed like a 'down' year to them. What better to inflate it's core than a totally-inscrutable duo, dedicated to creating noise-pop with no clear precedent? The three tracks on the first side run from the Francis Bebey-like 'The First Pill,' through 'I'm a Tick Tock Bomb' (basically a distillation of every good move the Fall made in the '90s), onto the Apocalypse-as-a-carnival-midway-game of 'Spin the Wheel!' It's what I sort of thought the Sleaford Mods might sound like when I first heard about them (boy, was that a disappointment). Just a weird, sometimes wordy collection of electronics and mood and barely suppressed outrage. The two tracks on the flip are sort of a post-Apocalypse song suite about pirates in a submarine who have to get rid of a lot of ballast, although they know they're gonna die anyway. And wasn't life grand? To which we say, 'yeah!' Impossible to categorize or to get off the stereo, The Things I've Lost is a monster for the ages. Listen in the light. Listen in the dark. Much better than the smaller versions for my aggressive chewer. For the smaller would they’d bite the sides and start choking on small pieces BUT! Not this one, this one has withheld hours upon hours and has been used repeatedly. It’s much more durable and I love it. The treat rings aren’t expensive for a bunch of them too which is great!

Great toy, not for strong chewers

Our Lab Stella loves her "doughnut" treats she gets with this toy! It's a great design, between the rawhide treats that aren't too much for your dog, the nubby teeth cleaner wheels and the hard plastic ends. We're on our 4th one as the hard plastic gets tooth marks & our Stella starts trying to bite off pieces of the plastic. Once it's too chewed, we throw it out and get another one. Not super durable for strong chewers if you intend it to last a long time, but great features if you keep getting new, unchewed ones!

Favorite toy so far!

I got the medium for my approx 25 lbs border collie mix 4.5 month old puppy. He is in love! He still has his razor baby teeth and didn't do any damage to it the first two uses. A great *quiet* toy to keep him busy. I am putting the replacement rings on autoship now!

I have bought 9 of the PetSafe ring toys. 5 for my pup and 4 as gifts. I have all of the toys (chicken, steak, jack, corn, ball, bone, nobbly). Never have I ever experienced any of them being broken in 1 afternoon. I will be asking for a replacement. But on the positive note, he was exhausted after finally getting the rings off. He has never broken any of the previous toys.
