The Kennametal SN159-PXL12 50 mm is an XL Performance blast nozzle with a BP200 SiAlON liner, polyurethane jacket and 50 mm aluminium thread. With a length of 305 mm, this nozzle has an extended venturi profile, allowing the abrasive to reach a higher velocity than with a standard long venturi blast nozzle.

The BP200 SiAlON liner combines a relatively low weight with good wear resistance. The material offers better break resistance than silicon carbide and standard silicon nitride. Thanks to the polyurethane jacket, this version is lighter than the SN159-XL12 50 mm with aluminium jacket.

The SN159-PXL12 50 mm is designed for blast hoses with an internal diameter of 32 mm. The wide 32 mm inlet reduces resistance at the nozzle entry and contributes to efficient operation. This nozzle is suitable for applications where high production capacity, greater working distance and reduced weight are important.

The BP200 SiAlON liner offers wear resistance comparable to tungsten carbide when used with steel shot, steel grit, iron silicate and aluminium silicate.

These nozzles are not recommended for use with hardened steel shot or hardened steel grit. Also check whether the fixed length of 305 mm is suitable for your blasting setup.
