**Indie Exclusive Yellow Vinyl
Full of raw energy, loveable irreverence and dynamite tunes, have become synonymous with the unmistake- able, sun-drenched pop of Australian-duo Hockey Dad. The childhood mates formed in a beach side town in the south east of Australia, have taken their raucous shows and jangly fuzz-pop songs all around the globe. Today, the duo come bursting through the gates with new oering “Brain Candy ”
Produced by John Goodsmanson (Blend Inn) “Brain Candy ” is full of frenetic energy and possess a manic guitar lines. This album is bound to hurtle them into the interna- tional spotlight yet again. Since their early days with a love of strange snippets of The Simpsons and catchy-AF indie rock, and playing DIY shows at their local, Rad Bar (RIP) the duo now have a back catalogue with millions of streams and an impressive collection of passport stamps behind them. With the youthful debut ‘Boronia’ (2016), along with their International breakthrough sophomore LP ‘Blend Inn’ (2018), the Hockey Dad boys have since sold out multiple headline Australian, UK, European, Canadian and USA tours as well as performing world renown festivals Reading, Leeds, The Great Escape in the UK, Pukkelpop in Belgium, SXSW in the US and a main stage triumphant set at Splendour In The Grass.
Hockey Dad have the most insane, overwhelming (and sometimes ?oor-breaking) fandom. It’s no accident. It’s simply a testament to their ability to deliver both on record and in their notoriously high-energy live shows. Pulling together a memorable experience they take with them to every show.
