The double-sided fleece covering of the Cynthia Yeh Mahler 3 Mallets is silky soft on one side for rolls and harder on the other side for articulation in the ornaments. What’s nice about the two sides is that the timbral change is minimal because both sides are covered in fleece, but the change in articulation is just right.
