Angela Liu is a 17-year-old senior at Polytechnic School and has received numerous first place awards which include the American ProtŽgŽ International Music Talent Competition, Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF) Open Baroque, and SYMF Open American. In 2014, she was selected to play a flute solo piece with Pasadena Summer Youth Chamber Orchestra in The Young ArtistsÕ Concert. She was the principal flutist of the CalState LA Symphony Orchestra/Olympia Youth Orchestra in 2014-2015. She made her debut at Carnegie Hall in December 2014.
