T-Con Strip vs T-Con Board — Check Strips First
Before replacing the entire T-Con board (expensive), always inspect the T-Con strips first. These flat ribbon connectors between the T-Con board and panel are prone to damage from heat, physical stress, and oxidation. Replacing the strips is far cheaper and quicker than replacing the full board — and often resolves picture faults completely.

FAQ
Q: How do I count the pins on my T-Con strips?
Open TV back panel, locate the flat ribbon cables connecting T-Con board to panel edges, count the pins on the connector. WhatsApp a photo for free identification.
Q: Do I need to replace both strips or just one?
LED TVs typically use 2 T-Con strips (left and right panel sides). If one is damaged, replacing both is recommended for consistent performance.
