For Electric Bowery’s Creative Director, Stephanie Luk, who moved from New York City to Venice when she joined the studio, the pattern reflects a deeply familiar part of her urban landscape. In this way, the Bowery blanket carries forward a piece of her time in New York, continuing the collection’s focus on memory and place.

This should be on the reading list of every American history class, and in the library of every school in the country. The history is first rate.
