As Planetary Assault Systems, Luke Slater is an innovator of psychedelic mindfuck techno. Across a lengthy catalog that stretches back into the '90s, the music's bleepy, polyrhythmic loops are as recognizable as they are genre-defining. Plantae is Slater's first release as PAS on Ostgut Ton since Arc Angel (OSTGUT 037CD/023LP, 2016) and covers the spectrum of PAS's different strains while remaining grounded in Slater's uncanny funk and knack for developing oblique melodies and rhythms over longer stretches. Deepness and hypnosis come as much through duration as sound design. For Slater, Plantae is made for Berghain, where he is a long-standing resident. In his own words: "I'm sure it's no surprise that when it comes to putting together a release on Ostgut Ton, PAS takes on it's more mind-altering, otherworldly quality by natural cause, quietly reflecting the dark sweaty nights and days at the club; at the point, the common neural coupling, of us all together. Unconventional Usage
I use a variety of these SpaceAid Long Wrap Dispensers to hold my stabilizer for my embroidery business. I have a couple of rolls that are longer than most, and these particular dispensers hold them perfectly. The cutter is very sharp and makes cutting in a straight line a snap! They look very nice hanging on the wall too.

I wouldn't recommend it to friends.
Unfortunately, I made a fundamental mistake: I assumed that the longest containers would fit the longest baking liners currently available. Yet, I really should have measured them. Consequently, they do not meet my expectations a result of my own poor approach to the purchase. Aside from that, the items arrived undamaged, though I haven't actually removed them from their plastic packaging yet. I'll give it to someone in the family and won't give it back.
I also ordered a triple dispenser in which the magnets are misaligned; as a result, the side used for loading the rolls does not close securely or properly.
I probably wouldn't recommend them to anyone, but I’ve decided to keep the triple ones for myself.

Not for Costco size rolls
I was hoping to organize both Press and Seal and Parchment Paper in this bamboo cutter. Sadly, the width of the holes are too small to fit the 'Costco size' rolls of parchment aren't wide enough.

Great storage idea
I was sick of having all my bags and wrap boxes getting stick in my drawer. This worked perfect. The sliding cutters work well. Labels included. Easy to use and good quality.
