Sid Meier's Civilization: A New Dawn est un jeu de société stratégique dans lequel deux à quatre joueurs incarnent les dirigeants des empires les plus mémorables de l'histoire. Au fil de la partie, les joueurs étendront leurs territoires, acquerront de nouvelles technologies et construiront bon nombre des plus grandes merveilles de l'humanité. À la fin, une nation s'imposera sur toutes les autres pour laisser une empreinte indélébile dans l'histoire.

Ce nouveau jeu propose aux joueurs un territoire inexploré à conquérir, composé de tuiles de carte magnifiquement illustrées. Ces conquérants en herbe construisent et peuplent la carte de barbares, de ressources naturelles et de cités-États, puis élaborent leurs plans pour façonner ce monde selon leur vision. Leurs objectifs précis changent toutefois à chaque partie. Les objectifs sont détaillés sur des cartes de victoire, dont trois sont tirées lors de la mise en place. Les joueurs s'affrontent pour être les premiers à accomplir un objectif sur chacune de ces cartes de victoire, en s'étendant à travers le monde et en assurant à leur civilisation la place de première puissance mondiale.

Perfect Salt & Pepper Grinders

Excellent design, size and function, plus they have CLEAR PLASTIC TOPS so you can easily see how much ground salt or pepper you have to sprinkle on your food. After using my first set I knew I needed another set for different combinations of pepper corns in particular. Oh, and they come with an extra set of ceramic grinding wheels (yes, ceramic, not plastic as a few reviewers falsely claim). Very smooth operation and adjustable from fine to coarse sizes. Here's my recommendation for use. First, use quality coarse salt and whole pepper corns. Second, don't grind with lid off over hot steaming food while cooking because the steam will negatively effects the salt and pepper in the grinders, the grind quality you get, and will ultimately clog the grinders. Just grind with lid on until you get the required amount (hence the need for the clear caps), open the caps and sprinkle. Easy peasy... ☺
