ChessPlus Designers Edition - With Weighted Playing Pieces
A fast paced edgy version of chess with exponentially more moves and all new strategies.
Combine. Split. Promote.
Combine pieces for extra strength and movement. Split for strategic advantage. Promote more! Three extra Queens are included...possibly four in play at once!
Faster play + more moves.
Many more moves and completely new strategies. Build your forces by racing your pawns to the other side for extra Queens. Discover new paths to victory. A new dimension of play awaits!
PowerUp.
Sometimes one player is stronger than the other. With Chessplus PowerUp the weaker player can start with an Extra Queen to balance the playing field. More fun and a fair challenge for both players!
The Chessplus Designers Edition set comprises of 38 high quality and durable weighted resin playing pieces. The beautiful set of 19 Ivory and 19 Charcoal pieces has it's own thick velvet, travel pouch. There are 3 Queens included for each colour as the game allows for many, more promotions than usual.
The design pays homage to the traditions of Chess piece design with an interconnecting design feature that allows for dual game play of Chessplus AND Chess.
Pieces range in height from 40mm (1.5 inches) to 70mm (2.75 inches) and are perfectly balanced to be practical during fast-paced games but are light enough to transport efficiently.
