Simply cut the unit to match your roof pitch, slide the unit onto the damaged vent and secure with 4 stainless steel screws (provided). They do their job!

The thickness and the strength of these plates is great. They’re not flimsy at all. I haven’t had any issue with their functionality since small plates are typically for desserts or snacks. The only issue I’ve had is that they tend to be stuck together a fair amount of the time. Before gatherings, I’ve had to separate the plates. Not a huge problem, just a little inconvenience imo.
