Alice Waters and the Trip to Delicious is the second of the author's Food Heroes series on people who changed what and how we eat, after the award-winning Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table. Alice Waters founded Chez Panisse restaurant in 1971 and the Edible Schoolyard in 1995. She won the James Beard Award for Best Chef in 1992 and Chez Panisse was named the Best Restaurant in America by Gourmet in 2001. Time magazine named her among "100 Most Influential People in the World" in 2014.

Excellent Quality Bamboo Cutting Board Set – Durable, Beautiful & Practical!

I’m very impressed with this 3-piece bamboo cutting board set! The different sizes are perfect for all my kitchen needs, from chopping vegetables and fruits to preparing meat and serving cheese. The bamboo is sturdy, smooth, and feels very high quality.
I love the deep juice grooves, which help keep my countertops clean when cutting juicy fruits or meats. The boards arrived well-finished and pre-oiled, and they have held up beautifully without cracking or warping. They are lightweight enough to handle easily but still solid and durable.
The natural bamboo look adds a nice touch to my kitchen, and cleaning them is quick and simple. Overall, this is an excellent value for the quality and versatility you get. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, attractive cutting boards!

Solid bamboo board set for the price

This bamboo cutting board set has been a nice addition to my kitchen. I like having different sizes available, and I especially appreciate being able to reduce how often I use plastic cutting boards. Mine did have a strong odor at first, but after washing them and letting them air out, that went away. They also seem good for the price
