Investigate the relationship between voltage supplied to the rotor and the polarity and position of magnets — a hands-on window into the principles powering every electric motor.

The Electric Motor Model (SE.EM1412-01) is a clear, open-construction demonstration motor designed for physics and STEM laboratories. By exposing the rotor, magnets, and commutator, students can observe exactly how electrical energy converts to mechanical rotation.

On applying 6V DC to the 4mm input sockets, the rotor begins rotating about its vertical axis. Students can then vary the supply voltage, reverse the connections, or reposition the magnets to directly observe how each variable affects rotor speed and direction — building a genuine conceptual understanding of electromagnetic motor principles.

Also has Hydrogenated polydecene - The chemical structure of synthetic hydrocarbons is similar to that of MOSH, another group of petrochemical-derived ingredients. A 2016 study states that "it seems prudent to assess their safety in the same way," suggesting that they could have comparable toxic effects on the body. MOSH may accumulate in the body, particularly in lymph nodes and body fat, where they could trigger inflammatory reactions. Liver effects have also been observed experimentally in certain types of rats, but have not been confirmed in humans to date. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends continuing studies to better assess the toxicity of these MOSH compounds, as "the consequences of the long-term accumulation of MOSH on human health have not been evaluated and remain uncertain." These compounds should especially be avoided in products where there is a risk of ingestion, such as lip balms and lipsticks. Moreover, the production of this ingredient has a significant environmental impact due to the extraction of hydrocarbons from underground and the high energy consumption required for its manufacture. *5 stars only so people will see this.*
