Crafted entirely from 100% blue agave and presented in beautifully handcrafted decanters, this crystal-clear tequila boasts enticing aromas of fresh agave, with subtle hints of citrus fruit and mint that pave the way for a remarkably smooth flavor that can elevate any favorite cocktail. Tequila, distilled from the Blue Agave plant, is an iconic spirit of Mexico, with Jalisco being the most prominent producer among its five provinces. To be classified as tequila, the beverage must contain at least 51% Blue Agave. However, producers seeking to create tequila with the fullest flavor use 100% agave and prominently feature the fact on the label. The different categories of tequila - blanco, reposado, and anejo - denote the degree of aging, with blanco being un-aged, and reposados and anejos typically aged in ex-bourbon casks for varying durations, ranging from 2 to 11 months and 1 to 5 years, respectively. Extended aging beyond 5 years can diminish the agave character of the tequila.
