This short volume seeks to draw out the main events and themes from this final week, applying both an expositional and exhortational style. This is so that the reader might not only be impressed by what happened, but also consider why it happened and how we should respond in our individual lives as disciples.

May we ever be filled with gratefulness that Jesus not only submitted to the cross, but also in the events that led up to it left such a powerful example of what it is to subject a human will to the divine:
