After a five-year pause for breath, last releasing in 2014, Rainer Veil return with their debut full-length for Modern Love; an immersive, kinematic tumble through electronic forms from hyper trance to tape dub experiments and loose polyrhythms - a summoning of 'ardcore spirits in flux. A hypnotic sound world tempered by weighty bass and angular construction, Vanity marks a breaking away from the binds of overthinking, an embrace of imperfection. It's a brighter set of tracks then anything we've heard from Rainer Veil before, discarding the foggy filters and guitar pedals that were the signature of their first two EPs in pursuit of a more loose-limbed and swung ideal. Opening on the skeletal trance vapor-trail "Sim Screen" and the agitated "Repatterning", you head into a ferociously asymmetric warehouse swerve "In Gold Mills" conjuring an uncanny, nighttime vision of suburban bass riddled with tension and bliss. "Shallows" retreats through isolation dub, echoing "Change Is Never Easy", a re-worked house template fractured to it's bare percussive core, while "FM2" entwines a double helix of DX7 patches with a heart wrench, and "Gauze" dismantles a mosaic of Kwaito patterns, buried under a haze of smoke. Tracing rapidly mutating electronic forms, from ringtone hooks to latinate rhythms and Razor synth edits, Vanity explores an instinctive swell of ideas and influences in perpetual and unstoppable forward motion, a sequence of flash frames captured and distilled for posterity. Great invention
Color: White
Second pack of these and I love them. I used them mostly for computer cables in my home office and my work office so I did not constantly have to go digging for laptop power cords and adapters. They have a strong adhesive that is very durable, the installation was super easy, super functional and overall great value for the money. These would be versatile as well if you wanted to use them for say phone charging cables or similar cords that seem to always fall behind a shelf or something similar.

Wonderful for chargers

I was skeptical about ordering these, but I am so glad I did. They are little cord controllers and they have a lift up cover that is magnetic so you can easily take your cord out of the hole. They stick to what you put it on and I’ve had no problem with them coming off on wood or plastic. Glad I bought these.

Perfect to plug in and off the floor.

These are perfect for keeping the charging cords organized. I have difficulty reaching the floor when I need them. I work from home and need to charge my phone and laptop often. So far the adhesive is holding up. The magnet is strong enough and the cord is light weight and does not slip through the hole. I have usB and C cords. We use them at the side of bed for our cell phones. It’s on the side of our nightstand. Makes vacuuming easier to. The cord is off the floor. Overall happy with these. Worth the money.

Overall good

These work pretty well and adhere securely. I chose to stick on the underside lip on my nightstand in case it damages finish. I like that they pop open to remove cord when desired, although sometimes it opens when I pull on cord too hard. Overall, I think they are help and save me from rummaging around for my cord.
