When the machine process is complete we then send to our production shop for the burnishing process. Burnishing the cylinder wall removes and/or greatly reduces burrs, imperfections and micro machining chatter marks that occur in all machine processes. It also makes for a straighter cylinder wall. Most all other manufacturers skip this process to reduce cost and see only a 40% success rate because the piston seals can not seat properly. Master cylinder includes our unique bore adapter to allow for use on both power and manual disc brake applications.
