Aguirre Records present the first vinyl reissue of Randall McCellan's The Healing Music Of Rana Vol. 2, originally released on cassette in 1983. Exceptional recordings by this new age maestro, only recently re-discovered by his friend JD Emmanuel and the band Sun Araw. Randall McClellan was a founding member of the electronic music studio at the Eastman School of Music in 1967 where he later received a Ph.D. in Composition, Theory and Musicology. A growing interest in North Indian music and vocal technique prompted him to develop his personal compositional practice into an active platform for inducing altered states of mind. He constructed his concerts to be spaces for harmonization of mind and body through a musical practice informed by his esoteric studies of ancient mystery schools and sacred geometry, believing these to be primarily teachings on intentional resonance. These performances were given between 1977 and 1983 in semi-darkened spaces that allowed listeners to relax on carpeting while being enveloped by sound. Each improvisation lasts from 25 to 45 minutes. An entire performance is up to three hours and is designed to provide an environment of meditative sound. His final live performance took place at New York City's Alternative Museum in October, 1983. The Music Of Rana Enviromental Series uses synthesizers, drone box, tamboura, voice, and tape delay to create an environment of continuously evolving multi-layered melody. Described as subtle, graceful, and of other worlds. The name Rana ("Sunbreath") has it's origin in ancient philosophical concepts that recognized vibration as the fundamental creative force and central principle of the many esoteric mystery schools of the ancient world. In the broadest sense, the practice of music for it's healing ability may well stand as our oldest continuous musical tradition. This album is the second volume in the series, and part of the cassette box set published by Sun Ark in 2013. This music is based on principles outlined in Randall's book, The Healing Forces of Music: History, Theory and Practice (1988). These compositions are selected for their meditational and healing abilities. EQ settings of treble and bass levels determine the music's effect upon you. Please explore until the most comfortable settings are found. Instrumentation includes the Moog Prodigy and MicroMoog synthesizer. Personal experience welded together with history and logic.

I heard Randy Clark's name come up on a YouTube video of Bill Johnson's teaching. When I saw that this book was available on the Christian Author's Network on Facebook, I had to have a copy. I love the way Mr. Clark boldly lays out the different beliefs among people groups concerning healing. The way that he pulls together the questions all of us think concerning why some people are healed and others are not is so enlightening. His honesty and sincerity make the reading so easy to jump into. He does not condemn anyone for their beliefs, and is quick to lay out his own questions and answers as well as his own unanswered questions about healing. And the main attraction of this book to me is that it is all scripturally-based. In my opinion, Mr. Clark welds together the logical scientific train of thought with the undeniable Word of God. This is a great book full of personal experience, history and in-depth study of the scriptures concerning healing and how to receive a personal breakthrough and to be a conduit for the Holy Spirit to flow through for the healing of others. Great, anointed book!

Clear, Readable, Informative, Biblical, and Practical
Format: Kindle
This is one of the best guides to what healing ministry is all about. Clark covers a plethora of biblical, theological, and practical aspects of healing: objections, testimonies, questions, various schools of thought, and the mystery of some being healed and others not. Clark writes well and both those with theological degrees (like myself) and those relatively new to Christianity should be able to get something out of this book. I especially appreciate his irenic tone and his stalwart rejection of the dreadful notion that God wills suffering. I can’t think of a better introduction to healing ministry than this. Equal to, yes, but not better.

Good solid teaching. He is a great expert on this kind of thing. It does get academic as he refers and quotes papers he had to do in his research. I got a lot of good teaching and insights from a man who is doing the Jesus stuff.

An excellent guide to healing
Format: Kindle
I am a pastor of a local church that is pursuing divine healing as a primary way of seeing the gospel of Jesus advance in the earth today. This book is an excellent guide and a "how to" manual to see increased healing in a congregational setting. I am asking several of my church leaders to read it so we can apply the principles in our local church and mission trip settings. (Btw, I have personally received two significant healings through Randy Clark's ministry as he was practicing the methods described in this book in a conference setting.)
For those wanting to see more of the miraculous as part of their gospel ministry, this is an excellent "read, study, and think" book that will help you move from point A to B in your journey to see and experience more.
