Greek Music Drama"The Greek Music Drama" marks an intriguing moment in the development of Nietzsche's thought. Delivered in 1870 at the Basel Museum, it was the first public enunciation of the great themes that would echo throughout Nietzsche's philosophy: the importance of aesthetic experience for culture, the primacy of the body and physiological drives, and the centrality of music to Greek tragedy. "The Greek Music Drama" marks an intriguing moment in the development of Nietzsche's thought. Delivered in 1870 at the Basel Museum, it was the first public enunciation of the great themes that would echo throughout Nietzsche's philosophy: the importance of aesthetic experience for culture, the primacy of the body and physiological drives, and the centrality of music to Greek tragedy. Here we see Nietzsche's genealogical methodology in embryonic form alongside the anti-humanist aesthetics that will bloom in his later work. Addressing the material conditions of Greek theater in detail, Nietzsche repudiates the abstract scholarly approach to the art of classical antiquity, proposing that in its stead we cultivate different emotional and intellectual powers in order to gain greater insight into that art. This seminal lecture offers an account of tragic experience from the sole perspective of the Dionysian, presenting a reading of nature of startling and far-reaching implications. While "The Greek Music Drama" is a text written on the brink of the insights that inform The Birth of Tragedy, it stands on its own right as a singular text. This work is of considerable importance and is now made available in English for the very first time, with the translation set parallel to the original German in this elegant bilingual edition. Paul Bishop's preface and informative critical notes and Jill Marsden's illuminating introduction not only serve to make good the comparative neglect this seminal text has suffered in Nietzsche studies, they also lend the unique expertise of two Nietzsche scholars to the early thought of a philosopher who is crucial not just to philosophy scholars and aficionados, but to anyone interested in theater, performance, and the art of tragedy.Binding Type: Paperback

Great valet tray!
Color: Brown
I needed something to help me keep my personal items organized, and saw this valet tray. I like how it looked and bought one. Then a bought a couple for my kids for Christmas presents, then a few more for around the house. We all like them because it feels good to be somewhat organized. I would definitely recommend them.

Worth the money
Color: Black
While this is in 2 pieces, it’s a great desk mat and the wireless charging is awesome!

Total Game Changer for Your Desk Space!
Color: Black, Color: Black
I decided to finally foray into the desk mat space, and my only regret is not doing this sooner. This particular mat is not only an instant upgrade, visually, for my desk, but also gives me a convenient place to tuck away those couple papers/cards I always need to have within reach.
It goes without saying, my favorite part of this is the high quality wireless charging piece. Aside from eliminating an extra cord, it helps minimize the clutter and lets me charge my phone AND AirPods simultaneously.
This is the first of many I will be purchasing, as it is the PERFECT gift for anyone with a desk.

Honestly, this is pretty nice!
Color: Black, Color: Black
At first I was a little disappointed in the design of this device because the mat and the charger are two separate pieces; but the magnet that is connecting them together is pretty strong, so I ended up not minding it. The magnet in the charger is pretty strong too, though, so the whole thing tends to lift up when you pick up your phone - this is my first MagSafe charger, so perhaps that is standard with these, I wouldn't know.
As you can see in the picture, this isn't your standard mouse pad. It's leather on one side and felt on the other (you can pick which side you want to face up, which is a nice design feature, I suppose). It's smooth and wipes off easily but really collects fingerprints and hairs.
It's also a good size. Not too big, not too small. I was a little worried because it's smaller than my older mousepad but I haven't suffered for it. I may even prefer this smaller size if I'm being honest.
I'm not sure if I like the feeling of the leather side against my arm/wrist, though. The mouse has no problem reading it but it's just not very soft. I do notoriously dislike change though so maybe that's just a me problem LOL.
All in all I'm happy with this and would suggest it!

Works great! The mat is a good size and the charger works well! So much more convenient than plugging in to charge.
