I have 2 cattle dogs. One blue heeler and one blue heeler/aussie mix that is blind and completely ball crazy. We have gone through a hundred balls over the years and this is by far the best. It can be kicked (with think boots not running shoes), thrown, or rolled by the dog if you have one of those types. One of my dogs is a chewer and he hasn't put a dent in it, in months. Noise + Durability Issues

Was really hopeful for this toy. Our boy loves playing outside with balls, but likes to run and play tug with them. We wanted to find a ball to play tug with and saw the handles on these, plus it was made by Kong and many reviews said it withstood their super chewers. The material didn’t stand a chance against my dog. Already took chunks of it out in the first 20 min. The other thing was the noise level of the squeaker. It’s unbearably loud. To the point I had to stop giving it to my dog because he squeaked it so much I felt it was disturbing the neighbors. So overall, wouldn’t recommend unless you have a lot of land, plan on using it indoors, and don’t have a super chewer dog.
