Hot Toys are excited to be expanding its Star Wars collectibles line up today by introducing a greatly detailed sixth scale collectible set featuring Clone Commander Appo and a 501st Battalion BARC Speeder inspired by the popular Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series!

A clone trooper in Republic service, Appo took part in a number of critical battles during the fight against the Separatists. In the final days of the war, Appo accompanied Anakin Skywalker to Coruscant’s Jedi Temple as part of Order 66 to eliminate all the Jedi…

The BARC speeder gave clone troopers increased operational range, great speed, mobility, and firepower otherwise unavailable to the foot soldier. A more aggressive and bulkier design than slimmer speeder bikes used by the Jedi, the BARC speeder was used in scouting and escort missions on a variety of worlds.

The highly-detailed Clone Trooper collectible figure is specially crafted based on the appearance of Commander Appo. It features beautifully crafted Clone Trooper armor and helmet, a skillfully tailored outfit, a blaster rifle, and a display base!

As for the new sixth scale BARC Speeder, it measures 68cm in length and features a detailed mechanical structure, beautifully paint application with weathering effects, articulated handlebars, and a rocky themed base.   


WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

The Commander Appo Sixth Scale Figure features:

  • Authentic and detailed likeness of Commander Appo in Star Wars: The Clone Wars
  • Newly developed helmet and finely crafted body armor with specially applied distress effects
  • Approximately 30.5 cm tall

  • Six (6) pieces of interchangeable gloved hands including:

      I have a Doberman. She is a ball and toy destroyer. She is the most obsessive retriever I’ve ever had. Her retrieving urge, and indefatigability, puts my golden retriever to shame. Because of this, we throw the ball all the time. She is primarily an indoor dog and we have to exhaust her energy and so throwing the ball is how this is done. It squeaks, which is irritating to us, but what she loves. She can lay there and chew on it and still not destroy it. They’re very heavy ball and bounce, so you have to be careful throwing it in the house cause you could hurt breakables. Whoever said that these feel like they came from the dollar tree must have been talking about something else. They are thick and sturdy balls. UPDATE: it has now been THREE MONTHS and our Doberman STILL has not destroyed these 2 balls. We play with them many times each day. WORTH EVERY PENNY ADDITIONAL UPDATE: it’s now been nine months. Took this photo this morning. We still have the balls and have since ordered two more. She chews on it multiple times every day. There’s a little hole in it now and it doesn’t squeak anymore but it’s 98% intact and still essentially indestructible. These balls are worth gold.
