This is their manifest destiny, for no one is better suited to the task than Yu Jing. Asia has always been a continent of great civilizations and immense empires. The purpose of the Yǎnjīng (The Eyes), the Yu Jing Military Intelligence Service, is none other than to ensure the necessary conditions are met for this destiny to be fulfilled. To do that, they have the Guǐ Fēng special operatives, the Phantom Wind that sweeps the Sphere, unnoticed and unnoticeable. The Guǐ Fēng undertake covert operations and generally take care of the dirty work the StateEmpire cannot handle openly through the use of regular forces or diplomacy. Guǐ Fēng are not registered; none of them appear in the official records. They operate outside the public field of vision, their scope is the whole of the Sphere, and they have a license to use any means in the exercise of their duty. The embodiment of discretion and stealth, the Guǐ Fēng honor their name and carry themselves like a spectral wind: always undetected, barely noticed, cold, and lethal.
