Vinyl LP release. 2009 release of this historic 'lost' album from the first off-shoot from the Parliafunkadelicment Thang. In 1972, after the original line-up of Funkadelic broke up, one of the projects that was embarked upon was an LP by a group called U.S. a single 'Baby I Owe You Something Good' B&W 'I Miss My Baby' appeared that year credited to U.S. music with Funkadelic. An album reached test-pressing stage, but until now no more has been heard of it. U.S. (which stood for United Soul) were from George Clinton's home town of Plainfield, New Jersey and included future Funkadelic members Gary Shider, Cordell and Larry Mosson. The album was produced by Bernie Worrell, Ray Davies and Fuzzy Haskins; it featured many Funkadelic musicians. The original album of five tracks includes some prime era Funkadelic grooves including the outrageous 'Rat Kiss the Cat on the Navel' and 'Be What You Is' which are both up tempo psychedelic funk, as well as the wonderful gospel-imbued vocals of Shider on 'I Miss My Baby' and the opener 'This Broken Heart'. The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.
