Playing this record, we recall the raw excitement we felt a quarter century ago when bands like Skullflower, A Band, R!!!S!!!, and the Shadow Ring were reinventing the shape of the UK sub-underground. Silver Dick is made up of guitarists Kate Armitage and Martin Greenwood, and drummer Joincey. They've all been involved in other projects (from Inca Eyeball to Desmadrados Soldados de Ventura), but there's a very special jumble to the sound they've found with Silver Dick. Like Mosquitoes, they have a way of shaping basic rock instrumentation to create something extraordinary and strange, really only comparable (in our limited experience) to the early work of the legendary New York band, Mars. The guitars wind outwards in sprawls that suggest melodies rather than outlining them. Kate's vocals have a hypnotized feel, as though they were being done by one of the actresses in Herzog's Heart of Glass (1976). And the percussion manages to sound clatterous while still maintaining the ability to keep things moving forward in a jagged line. The results are a delirious mix, full of secret information, and highlighted by the use of anonymous 'small instruments' of all sorts. Double the Fun
This two-pack was a really nice surprise. The toys are super cute, soft, and just the right size for carrying around, which made them an instant hit with my pup. He loves having a toy he can easily grab and parade around the house, and these are perfect for that.
The plush material is soft enough to make them great comfort toys, but they also have that fun squeaky element that keeps things interesting. I like that getting two in the pack gives a little backup when one gets slobbery or needs a quick cleanup.
These are better for gentle play and cuddling than for heavy chewing, but for a puppy or dog that likes soft carry-around toys, they are a great choice. Adorable, fun, and a good value for a two-pack.

Won't last forever, but my dog loves it
Size: X-Large, Color: Giraffe
My dog, a 90 lb black lab, LOVES these toys. He does prefer the raccoon to the giraffe, but he likes them both a lot. I originally got the raccoon on clearance at Target when looking for a long toy he could play with while he was in a cone recovering from surgery (he likes to be able to hold toys between his front paws and mouth/chew on them, so none of our regular squeaky footballs were long enough for that). He loved it so much I had to find more, so I found this giraffe from the same line of toys. He's a destroyer and he has been able to put a few holes in these toys if I'm not watching him, but they're pretty easy to sew if they need patching. My mother-in-law's dog came over and made a hole so big that the squeakers and lining all came out, but I sewed it back up and it's almost as good as new. They definitely won't last forever, but they have lasted longer than other soft toys we've had in the past.

My dogs favorite

I need this toy! It is my dogs favorite. She even takes this on walks. Ive replaced this on 3 times because it was “eaten” by my daughters dog. I keep it put up and Georgia constantly goes to the spot I keep it and is expecting me to give it to her. Please restock soon
