To celebrate the return of the Man Without Fear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Hot Toys is thrilled to announce the 1/6th scale Daredevil Collectible Figure! Masterfully crafted based on the likeness of Charlie Cox, the figure features a Matt Murdock head sculpt and a Daredevil cowled head. The cowled head features interchangeable parts, including two lower face plates and two cowls showcasing varying levels of weathering effects. 


A thrilling element for fans this season is Daredevil’s newly painted suit! To operate stealthily during the manhunt, Matt sprays a black coating over his original red suit and the classic red “DD” logo on his chest, reminiscent of his Shadowland era in the comics. As the story progresses, brutal battles cause the black coating to gradually peel off, revealing the red suit underneath. The figure captures his suit flawlessly with meticulously applied weathering effects that reveal patches of his red suit underneath the scraped black paint. The outfit is completed with an all-black design, including forearm gauntlets, knee armor plates, a thigh Billy Club holster, and long boots. 


Ready to deal out justice, Daredevil comes equipped with his signature weapons painted in black, including an extended Billy Club, a pair of short Billy Clubs, and a wire to connect them for use as nunchaku. Accessories include Matt’s red-tinted sunglasses and an incredibly atmospheric, magnetic diorama base inspired by the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, presenting details such as a sidewalk, a manhole cover engraved with the “DD” logo, and a road with rainwater accumulating in potholes.

Frustrating to set up and unreliable

I bought the Epson EcoTank ET-4800 hoping for an easy, low-cost printing solution, but it has been nothing but trouble. The wireless setup is overly complicated, and the printer often loses connection to the network, forcing me to restart it or reinstall the software. Printing is slow, even for simple documents, and the paper feeder sometimes pulls multiple sheets at once. While the EcoTank system is supposed to save money on ink, the print quality is inconsistent — colors can be dull, and black text occasionally appears streaky. Scanning and copying are also sluggish. For the price, I expected something much more reliable.

ET-4800 EZ PZ set up and start up. Prints and scans just fine

An excellent home printer. And why did I purchase such? I had an Epson WF-520 for nearly ten years. But neglect and lack of use caused the printer head to get gunked up. I cleaned the print heads using a solution of 95% Etoh and glass cleaner (about fifty/fifty), a syringe with a plastic tube attached and LOTS of paper towel strips. It was moderately successful but I was never able to get it back to like new printing. I looked over several new printers and wanted to stay with Epson because of ease of use (copy, scanning, printing). Seems as tank printers are the way to go these days. So I ordered the ET-4800. Got here in only a couple of days. Setup was pretty easy, just follow the instructions either via the documentation included or online version. I have pinted and scanned a color test page. I used the built in SmartScan feature without having to think about it much. I am quite satisfied with the results. By the way, there is no automatic two side printing. You actually have to get off your b---, take out the first printing, turn it over and refeed the stack. I was used to doing that with the old WF-520 and never had a problem. I will now set up a once a week, automatic scheduled printing task. I will just have to make sure there is paper on hand. Lack of use is the killer of these inkjet machines regardless of manufacturer.

Printer worked great until it didn’t. Cleared a paper jam that kept giving an issue. Then it gave a scanner error, after paper jam was resolved. I called support; they gathered all my info. Transferred me to someone else who then told me she’d email me some numbers to call for deals on refurbished printers or onsite support. I ended ups solving the problem… I threw the printer in the trash, and will likely not buy anymore epson products. I was willing to pay for service but not waste more time and making more phone calls. I had a credit card; i was willing to use it.
