Each blade is made of HK damask steel, a hand-forged, high-layer Damascussteel.
This process step produces a fine and chaotic layer structure that enables a hardness of 63 HRC.
The handles are made of old black ebony, a dense wood with a gorgeous colour which also ensures durability and a pleasant feel.
This is complemented by bronze handle clamps, which enable a beautiful construction: the blade flows seamlessly into the handle, optimizing hygiene and balance. The pewter bronze also has an antibacterial effect. The oval handle design is ideal for the pinch grip—a precision grip with the thumb and index finger directly in front of the ferrule—and thus offers ergonomic support during intensive use.
