About the Author

R.L. Corbo was born in 1958 and raised in the country. He spent his entire life exploring and enjoying nature, fishing and hunting on his own by age eleven. In addition, Corbo is a pilot with 3,000 hours flying time, placed 8th in the World Hangliding competition, and was one of the first nationally ranked snowboard instructors in America. He has owned several construction companies, managed and owned two flight parks, and designed and manufactured ultralight aircraft.

At age 54, Corbo sold everything he owned and moved into a 200 square foot one-room cabin in the woods of Vermont with no electricity. Now he talks to the animals and writes and draws all day long. He wrote this book as personal entertainment to save his sanity.
