Finish is fine but sizing is wrong and these don't fit tight but rattle. About 3/4" movement in all ways, which will lead to scratched paint.
If you've got a beater, these are fine but for my clean M3, I'll buy OEM from FCP or Turner.

True OEM replacement for the cabin air filter of my 2016 Hyundai Sonata SE. It fit perfectly and was the same quality and size as the one previous installed. Installation took less than 2 minutes.
