EveryoneDoesIt is pleased to bring you the lastest from DaVinci, the successor to their very popular IQ vaporizer, the IQ2. The IQ2 is primarily a dry herb vaporizer, but can also be used with solid concentrates.

The DaVinci IQ2 vaporizer is one of the smartest vapes available in the UK. It’s quite possibly smarter than any other. Every inch of this ingenious device is designed to provide a personalised experience. This level of customisation within its basic functions is almost unheard of.

Airflow, temperature, and dosage are among the things you can fine-tune. Its small size and portability, combined with the level of control, make the DaVinci IQ2 a popular choice in the UK.

The IQ2 is one of the finest portable vaporizers on the market, whether you are new to vaping or an expert, the IQ2 will not disappoint when it comes to vapor purity, quality, flavour and the overall vaping experience.

Improvements from the IQ

  • Thicker exterior metal
  • Better insulated bowl
  • Adjustable airflow dial
  • Know your dose technology
  • 35% more airholes allowing for cooler vapor
  • Zirconia pearl more adjustable
  • Easier to clean

The original IQ is rated as one of the best portable dry herb vaporizers on the market, and DaVinci have kept the best features of the IQ within the IQ2 to give you purer, higher-quality vapour.

The look and feel of the IQ2 is similar to the IQ, although the IQ2 has a brushed aluminium exterior and the device is very slightly larger. DaVinci have made their main focus of changes to the inside of the IQ2. The purity of the vapour has been at the heart of the making of the IQ2, each component is of medical-grade and they have ensured that no metal or plastic touches your material to make sure the flavour of your material is pure and uncomprimised.

DaVinci have taken time to focus on making the cleaning process easier with the IQ2 than with the IQ and they have achieved this by simplifying the airpath design. The glass lined ceramic bowl is better insulated to ensure for better purity and flavour. Like with other DaVinci devices there are no loose parts, making it easier to load and use when on the go without the worry of dropping and losing components. The airflow has been increased thanks to 35% more airholes, allowing for cooler vapor with the airflow dial.

One of the new key features is the new air dial, giving you an adjustable air flow. For easier and cooler draws, you can increase the airflow or if you want the vapour to be bigger and denser, you can decrease the airflow. This feature allows you to experience vapour which is 50% cooler than other devices.

The IQ2 also benefits from dosage calculation which can be controlled through the app or on the device itself. This allows you to be in complete control of the amount you are vaporizing and the active compounds within each draw. You can set limits on how much you want to vape and the device will notify you when you have reached your limit.

DaVinci IQ2's Best Features

Conduction Heating Technology

The DaVinci IQ2 features conduction heating, which is often unfairly considered inferior to convection. While this might’ve been true in the early days of dry herb vaporizers, technological advancements have closed the gap. Conduction even surpasses convection in many ways. Some of its advantages include:

  • Fast Heat-Up Time: Conduction heating is when your herb gets heated from contact with a hot surface. This means it gets hotter faster and is ready to start producing vapour as soon as it reaches the set temperature. Convection heating means your herb gets heated by moving air as you inhale. This requires multiple primer puffs to heat your herb thoroughly even after your device reaches temperature.
  • Bigger Clouds: Conduction heating has a reputation as the one with the biggest vape clouds, and for good reason. This is because your herb remains at a consistent temperature without depending on airflow for heat. It has come at the cost of reduced flavour in older-style vaporizers, but that’s not the case with the DaVinci IQ2.
  • Accurate Temperature: With conduction heating, the temperature of your material is always what it should be. Relying on airflow creates inconsistencies, which you don’t have to worry about with the DaVinci IQ2. It might not be a big deal, but it’s nice to know exactly what you’re getting.

Adjustable Airflow

The DaVinci IQ2’s adjustable airflow gives you control over every single hit. Airflow affects draw resistance, determining how much vapour is produced and how hard you have to puff. The easy-to-access dial is located on the bottom of the device for maximum convenience.

Draw resistance is one of the most important factors in any vaporizer. The DaVinci IQ2 offers a full spectrum of options from which to choose. Increase the airflow for cooler vapour and increase it for a thick, full, milky cloud.

Smart Path

Anyone who’s been vaping for a while understands the art of gradually increasing temperature during a session. Also known as temperature stepping, this slow increase maximises efficiency and ensures you feel only the desired effects. This is because compounds within the herb vaporise at different temperatures.

It can take a lot of practice to perfect the technique. With the DaVinci IQ2, you don’t have to worry about that. It does all the work for you by slowly increasing the temperature during a session automatically. There are four pre-programmed temperature ranges from which to choose:

  • Smart Path 1 – High Noon (176°C - 188°C): This setting is the most energising and gives a boost for those sluggish mornings. The flavour is maximised, and it provides a light, uplifting experience.
  • Smart Path 2 – Sunset (188°C - 198°C): The perfect setting for late afternoon/early evening. “Sunset” is sure to keep you alert and focused for the rest of your day.
  • Smart Path 3 – Moonlight (198°C - 210°C): Choose this setting when you’re ready to wind down for the evening. Its full-body relaxation is perfect for staying in and forgetting a long, hard day.
  • Smart Path 4 – Sandman (210°C - 221°C): For when you’re done with the day and ready to move on to the next. Good day or bad, you’re sure to be snoozing shortly after a session on this setting.

Dosage Control

The DaVinci IQ2 gives you total control over your dosage in two convenient ways. It does this both physically and digitally. Both options are very easy to use:

  • Zirconia Pearl: This is the physical part of the dosage control. It’s a hard ball that screws into the chamber lid and can change the maximum fill level. The heating chamber increases with a clockwise turn and decreases with a counterclockwise turn. You can remove the pearl altogether if you want to pack as much material into the chamber as possible.
  • Digital Display: With just a few button presses, you can input the TCH% and CBD% of your material. Once set, you’ll be shown the exact amount of each compound you’ve consumed after every puff. This is perfect if you want to be careful not to overindulge.

Remember that the ultimate gatekeeper is you. No matter how many safeguards are in place, only you can decide what’s best for yourself.

App and Browser Control

As one of the smartest vaporizers available in the UK, it should come as no surprise that the DaVinci IQ2 offers control via smartphone and PC. The app is only available on Android because Apple doesn’t allow vaporizer apps on its store. The good news is that if you have an Apple or Windows device, you can easily access the same functionality through your web browser.

Many of the controls are the same as you can do on the device, with a few extras added for convenience. The custom Smart Paths is probably the most helpful setting with the DaVinci IQ 2 app and browser control. This setting lets you adjust the starting and ending temperatures of each of the four Smart Path presets.

Other options available include precision temperature control, changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit, turning vibration on and off, and a real-time usage graph. You can even set the device to alert you when your desired dosage has been reached.

Works with Concentrates

The DaVinci IQ2 UK was designed with dry herb vaping in mind, but it’s more than capable of handling your favourite concentrate. The included dosage pod and ceramic extract disc combine for an impressive experience of hitting a fat dab on the go.

The optimal setup for concentrate usage starts with adding a layer of dry herb to the dosage pod. This helps absorb any spillover from dripping inside the heating chamber. The next step is to add your concentrate to the ceramic extract disc and place the disc on top of the layer of dry herb. Turn on your DaVinci IQ2 and enjoy.

Best cabin filter I've ever seen
This is the most complex and over-engineered cabin air filter I have ever seen, and I mean that in a good way! The overall shell is a hard plastic, and inside it are two basic parts; the filter (HEPA quality) and the loose fill activated charcoal. The filter media appears to be operating room quality, and if I were to guess, I would say it's like a MERV 14 or greater. The pleats are plentiful, and the spacing of the pleats are perfect, as well as the attachment of the media to the filter frame. The charcoal is a loose style fill, and it fits between the back of the filter media and the filter screen on the very back. This must have 5 times the amount of charcoal compared to the charcoal infused media you can get from many suppliers. The frame fits perfect in my 4runner, and it is hard plastic with good gasket material to further help the effectiveness of the media. All in all, this is an incredibly engineered filter, and if you're the type that wants nothing but the best for your vehicle, you've come to the right place by choosing this one. It is pricey, at $20 for one filter at the time of writing this review, but this is a textbook case of "you get what you pay for." I am going to start only buying these from now on, as they are the best quality and construction filter I have seen, and I highly recommend this filter!

A Simple, Affordable Cabin Filter That Does the Job
I have a mechanic I really trust, which is no small thing these days. The trade off is that he charges a little more for routine services like oil changes, and those visits always include a full vehicle inspection. To manage the cost, I make a point of handling the easy maintenance items myself so he does not feel the need to replace them with higher priced OEM parts. Cabin air filters fall squarely into that category. It takes me about two minutes to replace one, and doing it myself typically saves around fifty dollars. That was the motivation behind picking up this filter for my Toyota Sienna. Right out of the package it fit perfectly. The size is exact, which is important since cabin filters need a snug frame to work properly. There is a clear airflow direction arrow printed on the side, which is one of the two key things I always look for. Without that, it becomes guesswork and you risk installing the filter backward. With the arrow in place, installation is a quick slide and close operation. Functionally, cabin filters are hard to evaluate in real time. You do not get a dramatic change the moment you swap them out. What I rely on instead is whether they fit correctly, whether they load evenly over time and whether they avoid shedding material as they age. Based on construction and feel, this one meets those expectations. It is pleated well and the frame holds its shape. All signs point to it filtering properly, which is the baseline requirement. Because cabin filters need changing fairly often, it never makes sense to overspend on OEM versions unless you have a specific airflow sensitivity or unique environmental need. This filter costs far less and performs the key functions just as well for general use. In my Southern California environment, where dust and pollen appear regularly, I prefer to replace filters on the more frequent side, which makes the lower cost even more practical. The simplicity of the whole process is what I appreciate most. No tools, no struggle, no surprises. The filter pops in cleanly, the compartment closes and the job is done. When paired with the peace of mind of not paying dealership pricing for such a simple part, it becomes an easy product to recommend. A dependable, properly fitting cabin filter at a very reasonable price. Four stars.

So premium I can't even test the quality
edit- after about six weeks of driving through various conditions I can say that the air quality this filter produces is excellent., removing all smoggy odor. There is a minor soapy smell that is not offensive, just unusual. So I am very pleased with this item. original review- This really seems like a premium upgrade compared to the budget filters I normally buy. Unfortunately I live in a hot and dry climate (no humidity buildup to cause musty or sour odors and AC always running which dries the air also) and I do not smoke so I never have any odor problems in my vehicle to test the charcoal feature with. I also am not prone to dust allergies so I don't know how helpful the HEPA feature is. If I get stuck in traffic in a smoggy area or behind an especially smoggy vehicle I will switch to fresh air mode to learn if the charcoal feature helps and update this review. There is no paperwork in the box or arrows printed on the filter to determine which way to insert it. I am assuming the airflow path is downward and should pass through the paper side first, so I installed the paper side up.

It's a fit
This was a good fit for my 2010 Camry. Way nicer than the air filter I had in there before. I don't know what all those charcoal things do but it makes me feel like my car will have better air than the rest of of life. All the packaging and labels were Chinese, so I had to take my best guess about which way the air was supposed to flow. Other than that it was pretty easy to install. Just stick it in the hole. Seems to work well, I haven't noticed any new noises. Seems like a higher end filter. Hopefully it lasts the ten years before I change it next

Very Different, But Works Well
This is built much different than the others. It has a foam seal around the edges. The filter portion is standard, but the carbon activated material is a setoff beads suspended between a screen a honeycomb structure. There is air freshener built-in to help with the smell in the car. Fits well in my 2015 RAV4. Just as easy to install as any other filter. The price is on the high side so with this one I am hoping to get at least one year of use from it.
