Two internationally acclaimed soloists, the brothers Enzo and Livio Caroli, on flute and oboe respectively, pay tribute to Mozart by presenting the complete quartets for flute and oboe with string trio. They are joined in the work by the great violinist Gianni Guglielmo and the talented Michele Sguotti on viola and Giordano Pegoraro on cello. The performance is distinguished by its great brilliance and authority, proposing itself as a new discographic reference for this repertoire. The recording, of particular merit, was made by Marco Lincetto in an ancient church in the historic center of Vicenza, characterized by a soft and warm acoustic, particularly suitable for the repertoire.
