SRBA Newport, Rhode Island

Bailey's Beach (officially named and owned by the Spouting Rock Beach Association) is an elite private beach and club in Newport, Rhode Island.

History
According to the Providence Journal, Bailey's Beach in Newport Rhode Island was founded in the 1890s after new trolley service gave mill workers from Fall River ready access to Easton's Beach, a wide expanse closer to downtown Newport that the well-to-do had claimed as their own. Not wishing to associate with people who took their lunches in buckets, high society relocated several miles to Spouting Rock, smaller and often seaweedy but safely beyond the reach of trolleys. Today, approximately 500 families belong, and for the most part, new members are added only when old ones die.

Spouting Rock Beach Association, named for a geological formation, and membership in it tends to define summer life here in ways that are sometimes difficult to comprehend, even for insiders.

The organization has attracted notable members of nearby families such as the Vanderbilt family, Astor family, and Sheldon Whitehouse. The 1938 Hurricane destroyed the original clubhouse, and the current clubhouse and cabanas appear relatively modest to passersby. Bailey's Beach was one of the centers of elite Newport social life along with other institutions such as the Redwood Library, Newport Country Club, Trinity Church, Clambake Club, Newport Reading Room, New York Yacht Club summer clubhouse and the Newport Casino. Despite the exclusive status of the beach club and membership, the northeast end of the beach is open to the public and known colloquially as Reject's Beach.

Decent value for the money.
Size: 6FT*6FT, Color: Grey
Was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. Tools were supplied. It really needs to be assembled wherever you're going to be putting it as it can come apart easily when moved. The cross bars simply fit into open ended plastic 90 degree female ends. Overall for the money and to just have some division in a room it's a good value.

Garbage
Size: 6FT*6FT, Color: Black
This product is absolute garbage! It literally took all day to put it together and if the air conditioning blows on it the wrong way than the whole thing top over and it falls apart. It’s not made of quality material and is very flimsy. The only reason I’m not returning it is because it’s too difficult to put together and I don’t wanna spend that much time trying to take it apart. Do not buy this!

They serve their purpose as long as you leve them in one place and not moving them around and they're kinda flimsy and some of the velcros are cut too short and can't stay closed

Really adorable & functional room divider! I love mine!
Color: Dark Coffee, Size: 4 Panel
Really beautiful divider. I use it out on my patio at my apartment building to provide privacy, shade & keep my things safe. At 6 foot tall and 4 panels (I strongly suggest 4 panels) it's quite a lovely addition to my home. It's delicate so handle carefully but it comes completely put together & just set it up. Being able to move it inside or outside or wherever because it's so light makes it very mobile. It's not too opaque you can see through it but if it's for total privacy use a tablecloth or something behind it to make it less see through. It's strong and big and I had a question for their cs and they responded immediately and handled it right away which is a sign of a good company. It's light so make sure you secure it if it's windy for stability.
