It is designed for users who need a dependable internet connection for everyday tasks, from essential browsing and email to streaming your favourite shows and connecting with family. This 2.4 GHz wireless router is not for those seeking bleeding-edge speeds for extreme gaming or massive file transfers, but for individuals and families who value a consistently performing network. Its straightforward operation and versatile functionality make it an ideal choice for apartments, smaller homes, or as a supplementary network solution where a solid 2.4GHz connection is paramount.

Unwavering performance for your daily digital life

At its core, the Cudy N300 delivers a stable 300 Mbps wireless N connection. This speed is perfectly suited for a multitude of daily activities: it provides enough bandwidth for smooth video streaming on platforms like Netflix and YouTube, allows for clear video calls with loved ones, and supports responsive online browsing. The inclusion of two fixed omni-directional antennas ensures that this performance is distributed effectively throughout your space, minimising dead spots and providing a more uniform signal strength. This focus on consistent delivery means fewer interruptions and a more enjoyable online experience for everyone connected. The Cudy N300 router ensures your connection remains robust.

Adaptability to suit your evolving network requirements

The true strength of the Cudy N300 lies in its remarkable flexibility. Beyond its primary function as a router, it seamlessly transitions into several other essential roles. Use it as an Access Point (AP) to expand an existing wired network wirelessly; configure it as a Repeater (RE) to boost the signal of another router; employ its WISP mode to connect to a public Wi-Fi hotspot and share it across your devices; or integrate it into a Mesh Wi-Fi network as a Satellite to enhance coverage. This multi-functional design ensures that the N300 can adapt to your changing needs, offering a cost-effective and versatile networking solution that grows with your household. This mesh Wi-Fi capability extends your network's reach.

Security and ease of use, built-in

Your online safety is a priority. The Cudy N300 employs industry-standard WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption, safeguarding your network from unauthorised access and protecting your sensitive data. Setting up and managing your network is also remarkably simple. With compatibility across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, you can easily configure settings, manage connected devices, and monitor your network performance from virtually any device. The inclusion of a WPS button further simplifies the connection of compatible devices, offering a quick and secure way to join your network. This reliable 2.4 GHz wireless router prioritises your security.

Future-ready connectivity with advanced protocol support

While rooted in the reliable 2.4GHz band, the Cudy N300 is equipped with advanced features that cater to more demanding users. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 internet protocols, ensuring compatibility with the evolving internet landscape. For those who utilise VPN services, the integrated VPN Client supporting WireGuard and OpenVPN provides a secure tunnel for your internet traffic. Additionally, features like VLAN support for IPTV and a dedicated Guest Network allow for segmenting your network, enhancing security and managing access for visitors effectively. How Capitalism Shaped America
Format: Hardcover
Very impressive analysis. Unfortunately the author ended his analysis in 2010. Wish he had offered some thoughts on what should be done as opposed to what is being done in this age of economic chaos.

Some good footnotes to other histories
Format: Audiobook
This book is impressive in two key ways: first it re-surfaces recurring elements in the political/economic intersect over time (the on-again off-again use of "the gold standard," the company invasion into the intimate life of the laborer) and second it gets into the gory details of policies and logistics that shaped or limited major historical events (like the availability and movement of gold going into WWII). That said, it's pretty massive for providing just those two things. It comes up weaker from Nixon on to today which undermines its contemporary relevance: it stamps everything from 1980 on as "chaos" and tries to back away slowly. It spends some time on the change in stock ownership of the 1980s (prefer Ho's Liquidated or Nace's Gangs of America; the pivot from pensions to 401ks is lost, Supermoney is not mentioned), spends time on Enron (see also McLean's The Smartest Guys in the Room) but seems to mostly ignore terror and catastrophe (consider Klein's The Shock Doctrine), spends time on the 2008 meltdown (prefer Lewis's The Big Short and Foroohar's Makers & Takers) but comes up short of Occupy Wall Street, VC-fueled gig economy corporations and cryptocurrencies. I'm suspecting that the "Chaos" isn't so much chaos but rather "Distributed Tactical Illegibility" (to borrow from Scott's Seeing Like a State): where the control of information can be used to cultivate socioeconomic advantage, then powerful people within a state will maintain their privilege through obfuscating the information they're using to create and maintain that advantage -- this is why insider trading is illegal as an abuse of power and trust *but also legal for members of the US legislature*. It's also a bit weak (at least in Audible form) of noting which bits of economic history would be echoed or reversed over time; tracing the evolution of a social construct through a twisting maze of legal decisions to current incomprehensibility does have this effect. I did find its larger position interesting, if perhaps a bit lost in the larger prose, that capitalism is about pricing the future into the present and it's gone off the proverbial rails because informational ubiquity compounds short-termism to collapse the future into the present in both public and private enterprise. Or, to put it another way, money can't escape the gravity of our economic expectation for near-horizon growth to invest in a future that our larger society wants and might reasonably expect and while legislators need to govern for the long term they're only elected for the short term and judged by people's everyday-experiences of the social-economy.

Writing style not for me
Format: Hardcover
Some readers may enjoy this writing style, but I could not persevere and put it down after about a hundred pages. Too many single word quotations, choppy sentences that hoped around from subject to subject and some events discussed way out of chronology with other events. Some of this, particularly the constant one word quotes, may be for dramatic effect, but I found it disturbed the flow of the reading, something that is important in trying to get through a book this size. I prefer books with well organized paragraphs and syntax. This is not such a book.
