Description: The ZT2-HDG4 kit by ACT features their most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a 4-pad spring-centered race disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. These pressure plates undergo a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance and feature precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency.

The 4-pad spring-centered race disc in this kit features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations for quieter operation and resist failure even under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Engagement with the 4-pad spring-centered race disc is harsher compared to other options, but shifting is faster. It's well-suited for smaller disc sizes in smaller engines.

My wrist has gotten pretty sweaty as a result. And there is a VERY audible 'tick' involved with this watch. I'm a contractor and have moderate hearing loss, but I've noticed the tick when I'm sitting quietly in my living room. If a ticking clock drives you nuts, I would not recommend. Most of the time, I am in a locale so noisy, it doesn't matter. They want a jeweler to change the battery, which, as a guy who fixes stuff, I don't love, but I've got some time before I think about that. No pun intended. I'm happy with this purchase. Good for the jobsite or a hot date with my wife.

Now I have bought two of these. On the first, indiglo died after one year (battery otherwise fine). On the second, it only lasted 9 months. I’m done. On the first, suspecting the battery was prematurely drained, I took it to the jeweler to get a new battery. He said there was nothing wrong with the battery. I was within the warranty period for the second watch. When I inquired, I was told that it meant shipping the watch overseas for about 3 months to be fixed. Wow. So in reality, it's a disposable item that is not likely to work as long as warranted, much less several years. Time to find another brand.
