In 1970 the debut album from BIRTH CONTROL was released. The year of their 10th anniversary saw numerous activities which emphasized BC's top position in the German rock scene. The band recorded a new LP in November 1979 called "Count on Dracula", which was released as their first production with ARIOLA on 28.01.1980. Bernd Noske, singer and songwriter, who together with Bruno Frenzel formed the musical brain of the band comments, "The LP "Count on Dracula" ties in with "Hoodoo Man", but at the same time we consider it a completely new beginning". After ten years of late experimenting, the masterminds of Birth Control, Bernd 'Nossi' Noske and Bruno Frenzel, returned to the strongly rhythmic components of their early phase (Operation", Hoodoo Man") and to their stylish rousing rock in order to combine it with the musical experiences and influences which they had gained in the first ten years of their existence. After releases like "Plastic People" and "Backdoor Possibilities", music for minorities and intellectually minded listeners, with crazy melodies and rhythms, the band realized, after a lack of record sales, that the decisions to change the musical direction had been a huge error. The albums "Count on Dracula" and "Deal Done at Night", both released in 1980, document their return to classic rock as they had originally begun with the albums "Operation" and "Hoodoo Man".

Solid little workhorse

Worth it!

A necessity for anyone trying to elevate their espresso making game. I use this to measure my beans and to also measure the shot I pull and how long it takes to pull. It’s great quality and totally worth it. The scale is very quick to start when the shot starts to pull. Easy to use and a great scale.

Works prefectly, accurate, easy to use, and looks great.

I didn't expect much but it works really well and seems to be very accurate. It's much more sensitive (to 0.1g) than the scale I was using to measure my coffee and the autostart timer works really well. Also, unlike my other scale, this one is USB-C rechargable and so far has no indication of needing a recharge after a week or so of daily use. My other scale uses CR2032 batteries and goes through a pair every three weeks, so being able to recharge instead is quite nice.
It's small and I can use it to time the extraction and also use it to measure out heated water for tea, or whatever I need. This is definitely a steal for the price.

Great value and full-functioned.

This is a simple, elegant little scale with timer. It's perfect for use with a small espresso machine like my Breville Bambino Plus. It shifts easily from counter use weighing beans before grinding, to placing on the drip tray to time and weigh shots. The top is smooth and water resistant. I think it's a great value.

Beautiful, functional, and perfect for a stylish coffee bar
I absolutely love this scale. As someone who cares about both function and aesthetics, this was exactly what I was looking for. It’s refreshing to find a high-quality kitchen tool that doesn’t force you to sacrifice the look of your space. The white and gold design is stunning and fits perfectly on my coffee bar without looking bulky or industrial.
Functionally, it works flawlessly. I primarily use it to measure my coffee beans, but I’ve also used it for other items, and it’s consistently accurate and easy to use.
