Lovely tight and clean copy with few signs of wear and no inscriptions. Book would be fine but for small marks on inside boards where an old wrap had been secured. Goldston's signature is on the page he dedicates to magicians of the past - but I am not sure if this is a facsimile or not. There is no year of printing, but I understand these green boarded numbered editions were true 1sts. The person I got the book from bought it from Goldston himself in Goldston's London shop soon after the war. So this may be one of the original print run that was stored away.
