The DVA SET 600 monoblock power amplifier is a uniquely musical high-fidelity amplifier that is designed to accurately preserve all of the energy of a live listening experience.

All of the electronics in these units have been upgraded to the latest M750 levels, including a soft start power supply.

Both units are fully adjusted and tested.  Physically, they are in very good to excellent condition.
To-3 "metal can" mos-fet transistor package, not available anymore, is thought by some to be a better package than the currently used To-264 plastic package.

These DVA SET 600 are rated at 800w compared to the original 600 watts into 8 ohms. It’s comfortable paired with any speaker, including speakers demanding a LOT of power. 

The DVA SET 600 has awesome dynamic range, definition, and transparency. There is a amazing faithfulness to the spirit of the music, combined with accuracy that makes listing to music a pure enjoyment. The sound stage is life size and so pure that you hear much more of the music in a way that will startle and please you.

Standard configuration includes an XLR balanced input, parallel 5-way gold plated speaker jacks, and external speaker fuses. 

Audio Circuits

The SET amplifiers are Class A/B, and are biased as Class A at normal listening levels. The SET name stands for their unique Single Ended Transistor voltage amplifier design.  These amps utilize a simple but amazingly effective bipolar transistor front end followed by a very fast and rugged power mos-fet current amplifier section. 

Our SET amplifiers are uniquely DC stable. This means our SET amplifiers will not generate speaker damaging DC drift even when driven past clipping.

The combination of our design ideas allows the amplifiers to run cooler, last longer, and be amazingly fault tolerant. Sixteen double-die mos-fet output transistors, standard on the DVA SET 600, handle difficult speaker loads (2 Ohm loads and up). Plenty of power for any rational loudspeaker.

Power Supply and Layout

The DVA SET 600 has an oversized high-capacity torrid power transformer that is voltage regulated to provide incredible dynamic range, bass extension, transient detail, and air. All of the power supply parts are selected for long life, reliability and operate well within their technical specification ratings.

All new SET power amplifiers have regulated power supplies for all areas of the amplifier including the output transistors which provide unequaled bass control and micro dynamics.  There are no unregulated power supplies - anywhere!
