Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 Portable Power Station

Serious Backup Power for the Essentials at Home

When the power goes out, most people are not worried about fancy features. They want to know the fridge stays cold, the Wi-Fi stays on, the lights work, and the house stays livable.

The Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 Portable Power Station is built for exactly that.

With 3072Wh of battery capacity and 3600W of continuous output, it gives you enough real power to keep essential appliances and devices running during short to medium-length outages without the noise, fumes, or maintenance of a gas generator. It is compact for its class, easy to store indoors, fast to recharge, and strong enough to handle serious home backup jobs when the grid lets you down.

This is the kind of system that makes outage prep feel practical instead of overwhelming.

Why the Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 Makes Sense

A lot of backup options create as many problems as they solve.

Gas generators are loud, fuel-dependent, and annoying to maintain. Smaller battery units are quiet and simple, but often run out too fast or cannot handle enough of the house to really matter. The HomePower 3000 lands in the middle where most homeowners actually want to be: enough power to keep the important stuff running, but still compact and manageable enough to use without turning backup power into a project.

With 3600W continuous output and 7200W surge capacity, it can handle multiple essentials at once, including refrigerators, internet equipment, lighting, fans, chargers, and small appliances. That makes it a strong fit for people who want more than phone charging and a flashlight. It gives you real coverage for the devices that keep the house functional.

The included LiFePO4 battery is built for long-term reliability, offering 4,000 cycles to 70%+ capacity. In plain English, that means years of dependable use, not a battery you will be replacing anytime soon. Add in ZeroDrain technology, which helps the unit retain about 95% charge even after 12 months of storage, and you have a backup system that can sit ready without constant babysitting.

That is exactly what most homeowners want. Reliable backup power that is there when needed, not another thing to manage every week.

Built for Real Home Backup, Not Just Light-Duty Convenience

Enough Output to Run What Matters

The HomePower 3000 delivers 3600W of continuous power with 7200W surge peak, so it has the headroom to support several essential loads at once. That matters during an outage, because real life is never just one device at a time. You may need the fridge, router, a few lights, chargers, and a fan all going together.

This unit is built for that kind of use.

Quiet, Indoor-Friendly Backup

Unlike a portable gas generator, the HomePower 3000 stores clean battery power that can be used indoors without fumes, fuel storage, or engine noise. That makes it much easier to deploy in the moments that matter, especially at night, during bad weather, or when you just do not want the hassle of dragging out a generator and dealing with cords and gas cans.

Fast Recharge for Repeat Use

Once the battery is drained, you do not want to wait all day to get back to full. The HomePower 3000 recharges from AC in about 2.2 hours, which is fast for a system in this class and a big advantage during repeated outage use or day-to-day backup.

Long-Life LiFePO4 Battery

This system uses LiFePO4 battery chemistry, which is known for long service life, stability, and better long-term value than older battery types. With 4,000 cycles to 70%+ capacity, it is built for years of dependable service whether you use it regularly or keep it on standby.

Holds Its Charge in Storage

A backup power station only helps if it is still ready when the outage happens. Thanks to ZeroDrain technology, the HomePower 3000 can retain about 95% charge after 12 months of storage, which makes it especially appealing for emergency preparedness.

Charge it, store it, and trust it to be ready when you need it.

Compact for Its Power Class

At 59.52 lb, this is not a tiny unit, but for the amount of power it delivers, it is still very manageable. The footprint is compact enough for indoor storage and practical enough to move where needed around the home or property.

That is important for people who want serious battery backup without dedicating permanent space to a bulky system.

Flexible Charging Options

You can recharge the HomePower 3000 by AC wall outlet, 12V car adapter, or solar panels, giving you multiple ways to stay powered depending on the situation. The included SolarSaga 200W panel adds off-grid charging capability right out of the box, and the system can scale with additional panels for more solar input.

What It’s Great For

The HomePower 3000 is a smart fit for people who want a strong, quiet backup source for the essentials without jumping straight to a full installed home battery system.

It works especially well for:

  • Home backup during storms and outages
  • Keeping a refrigerator and freezer running
  • Powering Wi-Fi, routers, and communication devices
  • Running lights, fans, chargers, and small appliances
  • Apartment, condo, and suburban home backup where gas generators are less practical
  • Quiet off-grid power for cabins, garages, workshops, and outdoor use
  • Homeowners building a layered emergency power plan

What You Can Expect in Real Use

In real life, the HomePower 3000 is the kind of backup power solution that helps the house stay calm when the grid goes down.

You can keep essential appliances and electronics running, move the unit where needed, recharge it quickly, and store it without worrying about constant battery drain. It is powerful enough to feel like real backup, but still simple enough that you will actually use it.

For homeowners who are tired of outage stress, that is the real value. Less scrambling. Less guesswork. More control.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can the Jackery HomePower 3000 run during an outage?

It is designed to keep essential household devices running, including refrigerators, Wi-Fi routers, lights, fans, chargers, and small appliances. With 3600W of continuous output and 7200W surge capacity, it is built for real backup use, not just charging a phone or two.

Is the HomePower 3000 safe to use indoors?

Yes. Because it is a battery power station, it can be stored and used indoors without the fumes, fuel, or engine noise that come with a gas generator. That makes it much easier to use safely and comfortably inside the home.

How fast does it recharge?

Using a standard AC wall outlet, the HomePower 3000 recharges in about 2.2 hours. It can also be charged by car or by solar, which gives you more flexibility during outages, travel, or off-grid use.

Will it hold its charge while in storage?

Yes. Thanks to ZeroDrain technology, the battery can retain about 95% of its charge after 12 months of storage. That makes it a strong choice for emergency preparedness because it can stay ready without constant recharging.

How long is the battery expected to last?

The LiFePO4 battery is rated for 4,000 cycles to 70%+ capacity, which supports long-term use over many years. For most buyers, that means dependable backup power for the long haul.

Can it be used with a manual transfer switch?

Yes. For homes with essential circuits, the HomePower 3000 can be paired with a manual transfer switch to support key loads during outages. That gives homeowners a more organized way to keep important circuits powered without oversizing the whole system.

Is it portable?

For a unit with this much capacity, yes. At 59.52 lb, it is not ultralight, but it is still manageable enough to reposition around the house, move into a garage or workshop, or deploy where backup power is needed most.

Warranty

The HomePower 3000 is backed by a 3-year standard warranty plus a 2-year extended warranty, giving you added confidence in long-term support and reliability.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!
