【The Cavern Club Tapes: A Miraculous Revival of The Beatles’ Earliest Recordings】
The long-awaited restock of a previously sold-out, out-of-print bestseller is finally here! The Cavern Club Tapes, the latest compilation from the BEATFILE label, captures the raw energy of the Beatles' earliest days in 1962, just before their major debut. This essential collection features legendary live performances and rehearsals from their home turf in Liverpool.
While fans are familiar with the rehearsal takes of "Some Other Guy," "I Saw Her Standing There," and "One After 909," this release goes further. It includes parts of the "miraculous discovery" of recordings first unveiled in 2023, causing a stir among historians.
Highlights include the highly anticipated "Misery" rehearsal and the complete version of "Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey"—a track previously heard only in brief snippets in the Anthology documentary. Furthermore, the set boasts the oldest surviving BBC live recording from 1962, featuring Pete Best on drums.
Every track has been meticulously updated for the highest possible sound quality. This is a must-have title from BEATFILE, curated specifically for the discerning Beatles collector.
