Jack West is now working undercover for the Miami Police Department after sustaining a career-ending injury as a sniper in the Marine Corps. He has everything he could ever want: a loving wife, two beautiful children, and a newfound career with the Miami P.D. that no longer takes him all over the world.
Jack’s newest case involves building a case and performing a sting operation on Darren Marcolli, a local mob boss in Miami, Florida.
So, why is he waking up in the home of Marcolli, a Colt pistol in each hand, two dead men on the floor nearby, Darren Marcolli’s daughters locked in a closet, and no understanding of how he got there?
Nothing is what it seems in Jack West’s life, and soon, he will be forced to make a choice between what is right and what is lawful.
Is a crime always just a crime, or can certain circumstances justify an unlawful act? And despite performing an act that’s within the boundaries of the law, sometimes certain actions simply can’t go unpunished.
