A long-time favorite band of John Peel, Fabulous Poodles formed in 1975 and were well known for not only their humorous numbers, but also for their eccentric stage antics, which often included shenanigans such as exploding ukuleles. Originally consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Tony de Meur, bassist Richie Robertson, violin and mandolin player Bobby Valentino and drummer Bryn Burrows, Fabulous Poodles were featured on the Old Grey Whistle Test and also toured with the likes of Tom Petty, Meat Loaf, The Ramones, Sha Na Na, Bill Bruford, and as Chuck Berry's backing band. Includes all three of the band's original albums - Fabulous Poodles (1977), Unsuitable (1978) and Think Pink (1979) - all of their PYE Records singles and B-sides, plus a wealth of previously unreleased demo material. Features Fabulous Poodles' best-known singles 'Mirror Star', 'Chicago Boxcar (Boston Back)', 'Workshy', 'When The Summer's Thru', 'Bionic Man', 'Man With Money' and 'Stompin' With The Cat'. Powerful!

This thing is powerful and works great! I was hesitant about some of the negative reviews, but this is worth it so far. I use it every day and haven't charged it in the week that I've had it. Some people complained about turning it off.... It's not that hard. Just hold the button down for a second or two and it shuts off, no fuss. If you tap/press the button you'll cycle through the next speed and then off. I only use the first speed to make my protein shake and matcha. I feel like the high speed would just whip everything to pure foam! I'm hoping this lasts me a long time.

Quiet and Effective frother/mixer and Terrific Customer Service
Zulay Kitchen Powerful Milk Frother Wand
We ordered two Zulay frother wands and after just several months of continuous usage one of the units stopped working and the other one was sporadically working, where sometimes it would run “full power” and at other times it was barely spinning or turning the beverage.
I called Zulay and gave them my Amazon order number. After the Customer Service rep walked me through some minor things to check on the units she was also convinced that the units were probably defective. She had a replacement sent from Zulay along with a mini as a bonus for our troubles! And she had Amazon ship the other replacement unit.
Both shipments arrived promptly within days and we have been using them for months now without any major issues. We use the units (the two “standard” wands) almost every day and they get used two to three times a day. They only take ten to twenty seconds to mix up cocoa powder, hot or cold. And the same goes for different protein powder shakes.
What I especially like about these units is that there have been many times when I have had to use them off-hours, like between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. They are Whisper quiet so nobody gets disturbed. One generally can’t do this level of quiet stirring/mixing with a kitchen hand blender/mixer or shake blenders. These Zulay mixing units have really come in “handy” for us.
We are very Grateful to Amazon for their prompt delivery, and especially to the Customer Service representative at Zulay for her help, and to Zulay for standing behind their products and providing us with terrific and prompt Customer Service! Thank you!

Powerful and silent!

Wow, call me impressed! I just got the rechargeable version in blue and it's gorgeous! The metal shaft is thick, high quality and long enough to reach the bottom of a tall mug. And the double whip end works like magic. I had a cheaper frother (another brand) and this one blows it away! I couldn't even get much of a froth with my other one and having to hold the button the whole time was annoying. One press of this button and my milk was frothed in seconds. I didn't even use the higher setting! My morning latte is very happy.
