Bodley during a restoration project in the Duke's Closet in Ham House, England. At this time, the design was named 'Dysart' after the Earl of Dysart, who commissioned the work at Ham House. The

 

This luscious leafy design has an abundant history, including a host of royal patrons. An early version is found in Charles Le Brun's tapestry The Baptism of Louis XIV, woven by the Gobelins factories in 1630. Another iteration of the design was seen by G. F. Bodley during a restoration project in the Duke's Closet in Ham House, England. At this time, the design was named 'Dysart' after the Earl of Dysart, who commissioned the work at Ham House. The 'Dysart' was based by a 17th-century Genoese damask (currently in The Met collection) and it inspired Bodley to redraw the pattern in 1890, adding in a fleur de lys motif. Watts & Co. then adopted the fabric, renaming it 'Holbein' after Hans Holbein the Younger.

The fabric has been included in our collection for many years and is extremely versatile thanks to the non-directional movement of its lush foliage. It is available in a variety of colourways.

Definitely helps with acne
Cerave is a good brand for a lot of skin care products. I use their daily facial washes and now I bought this face and body acne wash. Mostly, I bought it because recently I had a zit on my forehead that was not going away with salicylic acid washes, so I decided to try benzoyl peroxide instead. With one use that zit dried up quick and disappeared in 2 days. I will say that I did let the product sit on my face for a minute before washing it off. I didn't notice any irritation on my skin or sensitivity. Benzoyl is underrated in my opinion. It's effective at getting rid of stubborn acne, more so than salicylic acid, but it can be drying so you must use moisturizer afterwards. The effectiveness also goes for body acne. Being a woman, I get those nasty painful hormonal acne break outs on my back sometimes and this helps a lot with getting rid of those. I like that it's slightly cheaper than Panoxyl and you don't need a large amount for it to work.
