She is a psychic artist and has found herself able to make ÒreconnaissanceÓ trips back to previous lifetimes, which has evoked images of Ancient Rome and Native American reservations. In recent times she has become fixated with a face in one of her paintings.
When her son brings home a male friend Tom, she is instantly and deeply attracted to him, and they begin a relationship. Laura is convinced that she and Tom and have experienced previous lifetimes together.
