A very near set of four rustic 19th century Windsor lathback kitchen chairs.

Full of traditional Victorian farmhouse kitchen charm, with solid elm seats and an original worn finish.

There are some stunning grain patterns and patina on these chairs with ring-turned legs and nice shaping where the lathback spindles meet the top - see photos.

Condition:

Good, no wobbles, just wear and tear as expected with plenty of character.

These were very dry when I bought them, so they've been given a very light clean then 2 doses of danish oil and a wax.

A couple of historic repairs with nails on one chair but otherwise pegs, mortise joints and glue.

Some signs of very historic woodworm on one chair, which I've treated anyway as a precaution.
