About the Michael Jackson Series: In 1999, while in his London hotel room, Michael Jackson discovered a fashion spread in The Sunday Times and was captivated by the images. He asked to meet their creator, a 23-year-old French fashion photographer named Arno Bani.
Arno traveled to New York to meet the pop star, and together they produced an extraordinary, never-before-seen series intended for the cover of Jackson’s album Invincible. Unfortunately, disagreements between the singer and his record label prevented the photographs from being published.
A decade later, following Michael Jackson’s passing, Arno Bani was finally authorized to present their collaborative work to the world.
